Han

Grand Korean BBQ with traditional wooden pavilions and karaoke rooms hidden beneath an office tower.

Last checked: March 2026

Why we love it

The most atmospheric Korean dining room in New Malden — four raised pavilions, a courtyard, and six karaoke rooms for after-dinner antics.

Han's tucked-away location at the bottom of an office tower belies the fun and grandeur inside. Four traditional wooden pavilions — Jeong Ja, made from wood and stone — create stunning raised seating areas, while a secluded courtyard offers a quieter escape. Since 2008, it's been the spot for groups looking for the full Korean experience: BBQ, cocktails, and karaoke. The BBQ pork belly sizzles at your table, and the kimchi pancake arrives crispy with good flavour. The bar has a packed shelf of spirits for those extending the night downstairs to the karaoke rooms (£35/hour for up to 8 people). It's more about the experience than chasing perfection — come with friends, order soju, and stay late. **Local's Tip:** Book a karaoke room in advance for birthdays or celebrations — the private rooms fill up on weekends.
