Megan's at the Post Office

The bottomless brunch institution on Victoria Road. Turkish-inflected cooking, award-winning eggs Benedict, and the kind of buzzy atmosphere that makes weekends feel like an event.

Why we love it

Winner of 'best bottomless brunch in London' — and the Turkish eggs alone justify the hype.

Megan's has become Surbiton's de facto brunch headquarters, and for good reason. The former post office is now a buzzy, plant-filled space where weekend tables fill with groups lingering over Turkish eggs and bottomless prosecco. Head chef Sercan brings genuine Turkish influence to a loosely Mediterranean menu — this isn't fusion for fusion's sake. The eggs Benedict here was voted one of London's top ten by the Evening Standard. Organic sourdough, proper Parma ham, hollandaise that tastes freshly made because it is. The shakshouka simmers for eight hours before your eggs are cracked into it — rich, spiced, and arrives still bubbling in the pan. For groups, the Turkish Brunch Feast is the move: a spread of eggs, halloumi, avocado, and all the sides. The bottomless brunch runs weekends and bank holidays until 6:30pm — £25 for 90 minutes of prosecco with your food. It's earned its reputation as one of the best in London. Dog-friendly, kid-friendly (proper children's menu, high chairs, space for pushchairs), and genuinely welcoming to laptop workers during quieter weekday hours. **Local's Tip:** Book ahead for weekends — it fills up. The last bottomless seating is 5pm. Weekday mornings are calmer if you want the food without the scene.
