Rena's
Turkish brunch with cocktails and character. Bottomless options, generous portions, and the kind of lively atmosphere that turns breakfast into an event.
Why we love it
The most social brunch in Surbiton. Come for the Turkish eggs, stay for the bottomless cocktails.
Rena's brings proper Turkish hospitality to Brighton Road, and the brunch here feels more like an event than a meal. Owner Gokhan has created something Surbiton was missing: a place where weekend brunch slides naturally into afternoon cocktails, with generous Turkish cooking as the foundation. The menu draws from European and Turkish traditions — expect menemen (Turkish scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers), börek, sucuk sausage, and spreads that cover the table. Portions are generous, flavours are bold, and the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality. This isn't sanitised "Mediterranean-inspired" cooking; it's the real thing. The bottomless brunch is the main draw: £25 gets you one dish plus unlimited sparkling cocktails (mimosa, bellini, kir royal, French 75, or prosecco) for 90 minutes. Upgrade to £35 for classic cocktails. Available daily 10am-3pm. The interior has personality — colourful, energetic, designed for groups who want to linger. It crosses over nicely into dinner territory if brunch extends itself. **Local's Tip:** Book for groups on weekends. The garden is lovely when the weather cooperates. If you're celebrating something, this is the Surbiton brunch spot with actual atmosphere.
